Minecraft Death Chest
Description Death Chest Mod – Ever had a time in Minecraft where you died, and all your items disappeared? Well this mod prevents your items from doing that now!
This Mod mod is a mod for Minecraft that spawns a chest at where you died at and places all the items that were in your inventory inside of it. The prevents your items from despawning, or disappearing because you didn’t pick them up in time. The reason that this mod is useful is because when you die in Minecraft, you usually are off exploring, or you might be mining. This usually means that you are quite a distance away from your house. When you respawn back to your house, you only have a limited time to go get your stuff before they go away forever. Since items in a chest don’t despawn, This means that you don’t have to be in a hurry to go get your items back. Also, since chests don’t burn, this mod is very useful if you are underground near lava, get blown up by a creeper, or if you manage to get struck by lightning and die.
However, to make the game more equal and fair, you must have a chest in you inventory for the mod to take effect. This is to prevent people from dying purposely to get an unlimited amount of chests.
When you die, if you have a chest in your inventory, it will be placed where you die, or in the closest available spot. The chest will be filled with as many items as possible. Items stored in the crafting slot are still lost, as usual, and any excess that won?t fit in the chest will be dropped.
