Install Sybase Odbc Driver Windows 2008
I'm trying to install the Postgres ODBC 32bit driver on a Windows 2008 R2 64bit machine. After installing it, with no errors, I go to the ODBC panel, the 32bit version under the /syswow64 folder and try to add the driver, select the Postgres driver from the list but I get an error 126, saying he can't find the driver at the specified path. The problem is that the path he shows me, is the exact path the driver is in, I double checked on the registery (on the HKLM SOFTWARE Wow6432Node ODBC ODBCINST.INI location) and it's fine there too.
A couple more people on have the same issue too. Did anyone ever run into this? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Windows Xp Sp2 Iso Image 32 Bit. Edit: the driver works fine on my win7 x64 test machine, this behaviour only happens on the server. Sons Of Anarchy S.
Short response, I'm in tech suport and do not know specific licensing questions. I work more in the tech support rather than the licensing for the products themselves. I'm not as familar with what we allow customers to do without gathering fully paid licenses. To my knowledge, we do not offer any ODBC trials. This is because you do not need a generated license to run ODBC as you do for ASE (sysam licensing) and it would be impossible to monitor.

To make sure you are not doing something illegal or use a product without the specific license or agreement, I would talk to customer service or sales as they know what is allowed when using our products. 1800-8SYBASE 0 Likes 0.
